Honestly, hiring a sitter is so scary. When my daughter was small, it was a stressful event to hire the perfect person & trust them to be me. Daycare wasn’t an option. I wanted her to have home care. Who was going to understand her autistic, ADD language? Who can recognize her allergies, respect our food choices, bedtimes, play, keep her safe? Do you even understand what safety is for her? She seems perfectly normal. As a single mom I kept trying. Now, there is this app. There are easy ways of connecting & sharing experiences, which makes finding the perfect sitter less painful. Hopefully, I can help. So here’s a bit about me… I am a mother & artist in constant pursuit of endeavors I deem meaningful. I attended Arizona State for Photography & Portfolio Center for Graphic Design. I worked for City of Alpharetta as the Art & Read more Drama camp director writing the program & overseeing summer camp for children under the age of 12. Self-expression & play is important. I love beautiful gardens. With additional education, I translated my skills to garden design. I can identify many plants & the signs of change in nature. Exploring natural environments is a way to regulate your nervous system & train your senses to pay attention. Children can benefit from this. I’m plant-based & lead a vegan lifestyle. I trained at Le Cordon Bleu & Matthew Kenny’s Raw Culinary Academy. I’ve prepared meals for a vegan nutritionist whose children are junior olympic athletes. Proper nutrition, understanding food allergies & diet limitations is essential. I love pets, I have 30 years of experience with them. From the smallest, 6lb chihuahua, to the largest, 120lb Great Pyrenees, I’ve provided furever homes for many without. I understand the dynamics of having a pet as a family member. They need safety, love & attention too. From years of practicing a calm demeanor & a soothing voice, I’ve been prompted to work as a voiceover artist. I often record meditations. Being present in the moment is my thing. My daughter is an adult now. It has taken an immense amount of sensitivity, patience, & love to understand the overstimulation of one who cannot communicate with words her overwhelmed feelings. I understand the energy required to be a great listener, be attentive & provide great care. Most importantly, I’m reliable. I’m sensitive & trustworthy. I’d love to care for your child or fur baby. I’m the person I wish I could have found to care for the love of my life.
