Hello! My name is Kennis and I've been babysitting since I was 14 years old. Initially, I gained experience working for my neighborhood in Seattle at several different households every few times a week, but after a few years, while attending the University of Washington, I was employed at a Montessori preschool, assistant teaching to a classroom of 3-6 years olds everyday. Assistant teaching gave me a lot of insight to younger children and classroom etiquette, which allowed me to improve my childcare to be more educational! **ABOUT ME** My name is Kennis and I am from Sammamish, Washington. I grew up in a large household with two sisters of my own, multiple dogs, and extended family. When I have the time, I love to cook delicious creative food and bake delectable sweets on occasion. I have a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and would Read more love to open my own business one day or work with children in some way, as those are my two main passions. I am described as a patient and empathetic person, with a kindergarten teacher personality, by most who know me! I believe children need that extra patience and love the most, as they are slowly learning so many new things everyday, and may get frustrated. Childhood is important to value so I want to make the experience the best I can for your children and you! I follow whatever values and rules the family would like while prioritizing safety first, keeping the kids healthy and happy. Though I am not currently certified due to expiration, since the age of 16 I have been first aid and CPR certified, twice each, and I am currently certified for food handling and have been three times before, as well.
