I grew up the oldest kid in my family to a single mom, taking care of people has always been a big part of my life, and a source of joy. I have spent the last year travelling, and learning about the world. I am passionate about mental and physical health, and am an artist in my free time. I am CPR certified, and have an education background with an associates, TESOL/TEFOL certification, and my bachelor's in international business is in progress. English is my first language, however I speak conversational Japanese and beginner Spanish as well. While in high school I worked part-time as an in-home-care aid, working with a special needs patient requiring full round-the-clock care, this included: making meals, feeding, bathroom assistance, changing help, entertainment and activities, medication administration, and constant safety watch and collaboration with the patients para-educator. I spent my college summers flying to to Read more DC. to babysit one toddler and one premature baby as a live-in-nanny. I love finding ways to help around the house when I can on top of making sure kids are spending their days feeling comfortable, loved, and having fun. I have a history of teaching. My most recent position was tutoring primarily elementary through high school in English, reading, and math. My specialty was utilizing my art skills to help create interactive concepts for students to not only gain a better understanding, but have fun with the material. My circles all know that when someone is in need of child care, I am a call away!
