My name is Janiyah, I am 18 years old and currently a student athlete at Concordia University Ann Arbor where I cheer. I have been cheering for 8 year, all my life I have done cheer and been a full time student. Any time I have free time, I love to spend time with my family, cook, clean, and play with my pet dog Ace. I have been babysitting for family members and family friends for about 2 years on and off. I also helped provide care for my grandmother for about 4 years as she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and moved in with my immediate family. I love spending time with kids and am even majoring in Psychology at my university to hopefully move forward in working with communications with children diagnosed with ASD and/or counsel children and teens. I have always had a deep love and passion for Read more kids and love putting a smile on their face. I have balanced being an honors student and athlete on top of having a job therefore I am very equipped with efficient time management. I received the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence from Harvard University and am also very passionate about education in today’s society as in today’s age everything has been set on phones and technology. I believe in hands on and active education within children and would be pleased to provide that. As previously stated I also love pets and animals and I love to cook. I love indoor and outdoor activities such as picnics, lunch/dinner days out, reading books, coloring, painting and so much more. I would love to be a helping hand to anyone in need.
