As an aunt of 9 children, ranging from 2-16, i am very familiar with the responsibilities and duties that children have. I have always loved kids and believe there is something incredibly special to learn from them everyday. They hold a unique perspective on the world that should be encourage by creative thinking and compassionate understanding. I have a degree in psychology from Indiana University and want to pursue a career in working with children in mental health. I have been a baby sitter in the past and throughly enjoyed my time with the family that brought me in. There i learned my method of gentle parenting has worked best, allowing children to become more independent in every activity they do. My skills range from: communication, compassion and empathy, children knowledge, and conflict resolution.
