Hi there! My name is Cassidy and I'm 32 years old and I currently care for two girls ages 5.5 and 8.5 years old. I will be moving on in the next couple of months and am looking for a new family to provide care for. I have over 11 years of professional experience with children from NB to 4 years old (predominantly but up to 8 years old) as both a nanny and a preschool teacher. I have a wide variety of child care experience in varying situations (nanny, Au Pair, preschool teacher, volunteer, etc.) as well as experience with children of varying types of abilities. I have a clean background, have my vaccinations up to date and excellent references. My CPR/First Aid certification is expired but I would be willing to renew! Some of the many things I do with children as they grow and develop are sensory Read more play/exploration, reading, plenty of outdoor time, arts and crafts, simple baking/cooking projects, puzzles, music/singing and so much more! All of which are age and ability appropriate! With infants I am always down on the ground with them, talking to them, singing/playing music for them, going for walks, providing a sense of security, etc. I have experience with handling breast milk, bottle feeding and transitioning to solid foods. I particularly enjoy working with infants as I love to watch them experience the world and witness and be a part of their developmental milestones! I am able to follow a schedule whilst still being very flexible as days can be unpredictable with little ones. I have a great deal of patience, understanding and am very communicative. I find myself to be kind, nurturing and compassionate. I am honest, easygoing, flexible and adapt very well to new situations. As a nanny, I don't just treat it like a job but another family!
