Hi, I’m Nina! I’m currently only looking for one day a week or to fill in for last-minute positions when help is needed. With over 25 years of experience working with children, my journey has been driven by a passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. As an early music education teacher and yoga instructor, I’ve always embraced a holistic approach to caring for kids. Originally from Germany, I moved to the U.S. in 2010 as a full-time in-home nanny. I started with a busy family of five in Fairlawn, where I took on all the usual nanny duties—meal prep, cleaning, homework help, and managing daily schedules—while learning English and forming meaningful connections with the children. After my Au Pair year, I transitioned to working with a family of four in Bay Village. I became deeply involved in their lives—braiding the girls' hair, dropping off gym shoes at school, attending Read more birthdays and dance recitals, offering support on tough days, and teaching them to swim, play soccer, and piano—all while maintaining professionalism. This experience taught me the importance of balance, patience, and honoring each child’s individuality. Now, I’m married with two children and two dogs, living on Cleveland's West Side. I’m familiar with all the local playgrounds, classes, beaches, and activities! Over the years, I’ve discovered that my strengths lie in my sense of humor, athleticism, creativity, and ability to stay calm in chaotic situations. I truly enjoy bringing kindness and patience to the children I care for, and I take pride in celebrating each child’s unique personality. Babies, and the way they experience the world, hold a special place in my heart. Every family is different, and I believe fostering an environment of love, respect, and encouragement is key to helping children thrive.
