Hi there! My name is Nadia Rubio, I am 20 years old, and the oldest of six kids. While I don't have any professional/paid experience watching children, I have *years* of informal experience as an eldest child helping my mom take care of my siblings through every stage of childhood. I also served as a preschool teacher at my familys church for a short while. From infants to middle school, I won't say I've seen it all, but I've certainly seen a lot! I love coming up with unique ways to play and communicate with kids, with arts and crafts, hand puppets, singing, sign language, and all sorts of fun! (I am a little rusty on my ASL but will be brushing up on it again!). I am also used to lots of pets around the house, being raised on a farm with chickens, cats, and dogs, oh my! Food Read more is a very big passion of mine, while I don't have my own kitchen at my apartment, when I lived with my family I would often cook and bake to help out, I also took Culinary Arts in highschool, so I know my stuff! I'm able to help around to house with some light housekeeping, such as sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning up after myself. I am also able to do light pet work such as feeding, watering, and potentially brushing any pets. I am not currently CPR/First aid certified however I am more than willing to get those certifications if the job requires. I would need a one month heads up before starting since I currently work full time. If the need arises I can look into potentially starting sooner with a modified schedule.
