Hi, my name is Liz. I grew up babysitting in my neighborhood and nannying during the summers. Eventually I studied early childhood education at a professional nanny school in Oregon. Working as a nanny through college, I’ve since moved onto corporate work and now running my own business. I’m interested in pursuing more schooling in education and would like to spend more time away from my typical work community and with kids. A positive healthy role model, I believe it’s important for kids to experience fun, silliness and creativity while balanced with structure like learning to look both ways to cross a street, practice kindness, and demonstrate healthy lifestyle choices. Time spent doing, moving, engaging senses, and interacting with people and nature are very important to development. So is being silly and imaginative.
