Hi there! I’m Charity and I’m passionate about providing loving, attentive, and high-quality care to children of all ages. My childcare journey began over a decade ago, when I started helping my mom care for my younger siblings, from newborns to toddlers. Since then, I’ve built a diverse and hands-on background in childcare, and for the past 3 years, I’ve been working professionally as a nanny. My experience spans from babysitting and volunteering in church nurseries to managing children’s activities at my local library. I’ve always been drawn to working with kids—whether it was organizing storytime crafts or helping a newborn adjust to life at home, I’ve thrived in creating structured yet fun environments for children. In 2019, I transitioned into the professional childcare world, and by 2022, I started working as a full-time nanny. I began with a family in Apex, caring for a six-month-old baby boy and integrating Read more Spanish language exposure into his daily routine. My responsibilities included baby laundry, bottle care, meal prep, and keeping the house organized—always going above and beyond to ensure everything was running smoothly. I believe in the power of getting kids outside every day for fresh air and exploration, which is something I make a priority with every family I work with. In September 2023, I transitioned to my current position with a family in Cary, caring for a 3-month-old baby and his older sibling (4). My role includes everything from ensuring a proper sleep schedule and tummy time, to engaging the baby in age-appropriate sensory and educational activities. As he’s grown, I’ve also adapted the routine to match his developmental milestones. I’m happy to pitch in with additional responsibilities, such as caring for pets and assisting with household tasks, to make life easier for the family. I pride myself on creating a calm, nurturing environment while encouraging exploration, curiosity, and play. I’m currently pursuing a Biopharmaceutical Technology degree at Wake Tech but plan to continue working as a nanny through online courses as I transition to NCSU in 2025. I’m actively seeking my “unicorn family”—the perfect match where I can bring my experience, love for the outdoors, and commitment to going above and beyond. If you’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and reliable nanny who will care for your children and your home like her own, I can’t wait to meet you!
