Hello there! My name’s Kristin and 22 years old. I'm from Germany and was an Au Pair (live-in nanny) for a lovely family where the kids were 5, 9, and 11 in Overland Park, KS for around 2 years. I started in January 2020, right before the pandemic started, so there shouldn't be a problem that can't be solved. During this time I took out the kids to fun places that were available, did light housekeeping, helped with school assignments, and food preparation. Since I was a live-in nanny, I also helped bedtime routines sometimes. All that while always communicating with the parents to make it a nice experience for everyone. Later on, I drove the kids to school, picked them up, and also took them to all their activities. They had a very busy schedule. After I my Au Pair contract was done, I moved on to gather some Read more experience with children between the ages of 6 months and 14 years, as well as special needs more recently as a part time-nanny. One family had 2 year old twin girls, a 10 year old boy with down syndrome and cognitive disabilities, as well as a 12 year old active swimmer. I stayed with them for around a year until my help was no longer needed. I also helped a family with 6-month old twin boys during the night, so they can get a good nights rest for the kids and work during the day. I recently worked for a family with 3 girls. They’re 5, 11, and 14. The focus here was on the 11 year-old since she has cognitive disabilities, no mobility and a speech impediment. I was in charge of tube feeding, diaper changes, her night time routine, food prep for the family, as well es keeping the girls busy. I also have an American driver's license and have never been in an accident. I’m always happy to answer any questions and share references.
