Hello, my name is Faith. I am looking to change careers a bit and become a nanny. For the past five years, I have been working as an assistant teacher working one on one with children between the ages of 6-9 years old. I love working with children because they truly are a blessing to this world. I have created such a bond with the kids I have taught and I feel like I have impacted their life in a positive way and they have for me. Children are our future and so it is so important that they are in an environment and with others who allow them to learn, grow, and experience the world around them. I also love art and so doing arts and crafts with the kids is always so much fun and helps to bring out more of their creativity. I think what sets me Read more apart from others is my extreme patience I have for children. Working in the school system, I have dealt with my fair share of behavioral problems with a variety of students, and for me I try to stay patient and hear the child explain what the issue is and then talk with them about how they can fix it, or the best way to go about problem solving. I like to try to give them hints and hear about how they can make it better. For me I want the child to try to problem solve or come up with a solution (depending on their age) because it teaches them independence and that once calm, any issue can be addressed appropriately.
