Hello! I am a 25 year old with a BA in expressive arts therapy. I have been babysitting since I was 10. I worked at a kid's ninja warrior gym for 4 years (the agility center in Rockville, MD). I taught classes, worked camps, and supervised open gyms for children ages 1-14. I love children and have years of experience as a ballet teacher, daycare supervisor, special needs at home caretaker, and nanny. I have been a regular babysitter for several years for many families and I have gone with families on summer vacations and to special formal events. I am a Maryland/DC native who is moving to Greensboro, NC in April. I also have 6 years of experience working with children and adults with a wide range of special needs. I have worked with kids with down syndrome, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, OCD, sensory processing disorders, and speech delays. I graduated college with honors and took several education courses at college in addition to over a decade of real-life experience. I am fully vaccinated (booster too). I love learning more about positive parenting, emotional resilience, and Montessori-based education techniques (although I respect however you parent and will stay consistent to your routine and form of parenting). I think children are capable and deserve to be treated as such (with supervision and support of course). I love giving children the opportunity to fully embrace their creativity, confidence, independence, empathy, and kindness through play and activities. I love dance, gymnastics, and I speak intermediate Italian.

Mary, who goes by Madison, was amazing with our 1 year old son. We were in town for a wedding and she watched him while we were at the event. She kept him engaged, entertained, and safe for several hours before his bedtime. When we returned all his clothes were folded and toys all organized (Madison you saved me so much time the next morning for packing!). She was a life savor and made us feel very comfortable leaving our son for a few hours. Thank you again!!
