To whom it may concern, Dynamic mother of 2 successful children, with 35 years of experience in childcare. I was born in Genoa, Italy where my family owned a shipyard and grew up on yachts. Because of politically inspired violence in Italy from late 1960’s, my parents enrolled me in a private boarding school in Crans Sur Sierre, Switzerland, where I earned a diploma in Social Studies. Following my time abroad in Switzerland, I graduated from Silvio Pellico University in Milan with a bachelor’s in international languages. I met the father of my children and moved to New Jersey in 1989. I babysat for neighboring parents until I was blessed with my first child. I was a stay-at-home-mom for my two children until I divorced my husband and started working at Discovery Preschool in Coral Springs; the school my daughter attended. When both my children were in Elementary School, we Read more moved to Miami Beach, and I began volunteering and babysitting again. Miami has become my home, my children are my life, and I am fortunate to have them both living nearby. I am fluent in English, Italian, French, and could introduce children to other languages upon request. Because of my experience in preschools, I have a fond appreciation for art and crafts, coloring, cooking, board games, storytelling, singing, and playground activities. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with children instead of watching TV or playing videogames. Safety is of the upmost importance, but I do strive to have children enjoying themselves. Until the moment when I become a grandmother, my love and care will go to the children I for which I care. Being a mother of two, I understand the difficulty in leaving children at home for professional responsibilities. I empathize with the internal struggle because I felt it myself. And that is why they deserve my undivided attention and care. I hope you consider me for the role.
