  • Comfortable with pets

I'm a passionate childcare provider with 3 years of experience in early learning settings. My love for fostering children's growth and development drives me to create a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. I'm patient, creative, and friendly. I believe in open communication with parents and use written daily reports and verbal communication to keep them informed about their child's day. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a structured and safe environment for the children in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children between the ages of 0 and 5, and I speak English. I'm also a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. If you're looking for a reliable, experienced, and caring childcare provider, I'd be happy to discuss how I can meet Read more your family's needs. Activities I enjoy with children I enjoy activities like playing with play dough. It helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. It also strengthens fingers, which prepares them for writing. Finger painting which helps children learn their colors and also allow them to experiment between colors. Sensory bins is also another activity I enjoy because it is a hands-on activity that helps toddlers build skills and understanding. Sensory play stimulates the five senses, which encourages creativity and scientific thinking. Building blocks because it is a really great independent activity for children, but you can join in to help enhance learning. Active play including riding a bike, playing in water, chasing games, and ball games are great for toddlers to get moving. How I handle upset children I acknowledge how they’re feeling by letting them know what they feel is valid , provide a calm and supportive presence, try to understand the cause of them being upset, and offer strategies to help them calm down like deep breathing, distraction techniques, or a quiet space to cool off. Pay attention to what they are saying and try to understand their perspective. Trainings: CPR certification Health and safety training RBT training (ABA)
