Hello, my name is Caitlin. I’m an experienced nanny and preschool teacher. I have been teaching preschool for the past 5 years and as much as I do love it, I miss the one on one time as well as family bonding that goes with being a regular nanny. I am also attending school again online so I’m looking for a job with some flexibility that isn’t too many hours. This way I can balance my work and study time. Ideally, 3-4 days a week would be great. Hours would ideally be 20-30 but I can work up to 40 if I still have a couple days off each week that I can commit to studying, make appointments if necessary, etc. I’ve worked with children of ages that range from infant-teens but my specialty area is infant-2/3 years old. I have a Childhood Development Associate that I’m currently in the Read more process of renewing as well. I’m certified in CPR, and First Aid. I also have previous experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. My availability is pretty much open. The only time of the week I’m not free is Monday evening from 6:45-9pm as I take a teach dance class during this time. Therefore, on Mondays I could work until about 6pm. I’m a firm believer in developing a relationship with children in which they feel they can always trust me. I believe in clear and constant communication with parents so that we can all be on the same page, work together, and make sure the children have consistency in their day whether they are with their parents or me. I try to keep their days filled with fun activities and keep somewhat of a routine so they have that consistency and security however, I’m also very laid back in my nature.
