my name is saige, i’m 20 years old. my fiancé and i moved to logan from perry county in 2022. i rescue reptiles and I have two german shepherds. dogs will be put away while children are in the home. i became a big sister at 12 and loved helping my parents with watching and taking care of her. i started baby sitting for a family friend at 16 , they have 4 children ages from 2-14. reference available if needed! I’ve also watched my cousins , ages 3-10 .a little about me- my hobbies include fishing, crocheting, playing video games , reading , canning food and gardening. i am very patient, attentive and aim to give children a safe and happy environment to grow in. i have turned my guest bedroom into a room designated for baby sitting. in there i have a air purifier, humidifier and noise machine Read more for nap time. twin bed , with more than 1 child i will need to get mats / cots. when tv is watched at my home it will be low stimulation shows and movies. i aim to be as hands on as possible. sensory bins, water play , story time , help with homework , art station (painting and coloring) , dance party , exercising , help with cleaning and cooking, pretend play , matching card games , counting / abcs. for pre-teens / teens , i can teach them to clean, cook, bake , crochet , tie knots , build a fire , how to reduce , reuse and recycle, plant identification , how to work out safely with or without weights and simple yoga moves , using tools like a hammer, screw driver and alan wrench. we do have a yard , i have a mud kitchen set up where we can make mud pies and potions, they can help me in the garden / play with chalk , water time in the kiddie pool, i do have a slip n slide and will be getting a sand box this summer. we have a fire pit and grill so late summer days we can have burgers , roast marsh mallows and catch fire flies. for teens i do have gaming systems they can play on as well ( xbox one , xbox 360 , laptop ) with your permission. i am not CPR or First Aid Certified, I do have a First Aid kit made and a Child Choking Rescue Device. safety is very important to me , so once every month i will do a fire and tornado drill. i have a fire extinguisher and 2 fire blankets around my home. i have a car and my permit , i do not have my license at this moment. i selected that i do not have a car yet because i don’t want that to indicate that i am able to drive your children to and from places. you will drop off and pick up at my home.
