While studying for my BS degree many years ago I worked in an infant/toddler room at a local daycare. I loved going to work each and every day! I then became a nanny for one of their clients for over two years while completing my degree. I am now a 42-year-old mom of two beautiful children; a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy who I love more than anything. My daughter developed some severe medical conditions at a very early age so I have been first aid and CPR certified since she was a baby. I also volunteered as an EMT-advanced with the Virginia Beach rescue squad for over five years. I am comfortable watching children with type 1 diabetes, epilepsy, ADHD, and allergies. I am looking forward to getting back into my passion and working with children again. I would prefer to work with only one family vs occasional Read more babysitting jobs but will happily do both. My goal is to build a strong connection and trust with you and your children. I am very energetic and love being outdoors. I have many fun learning games and activities to do both indoor and outside. During the winter months, I like to go on Pinterest to come up with fun projects to do with the kids (even the tiny ones). I will gladly do housework, cooking, laundry, cleaning-whatever else is needed while baby/toddler naps. I understand that money is tight right now for everybody. I do have a lot of experience taking care of children- my own and other peoples. If for any reason you would like to hire or consider me for an interview, but cannot pay what is listed, please don’t let that stop you. I’m not just doing this for the money. I would love to provide a loving, caring, supportive learning environment for your child! I love animals and am current on my first aid/CPR training. My schedule is also very flexible.
