Hello there! My name is Lexie, and I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your family. I recently moved here to continue my studies at NOVA, where I’m pursuing my doctorate in occupational therapy. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a lifetime of experience working with children, my journey in this field has been filled with joy and discovery. I began my career babysitting, which blossomed into teaching preschoolers at a private school, then expanded into substitute teaching at a Montessori school, and eventually led me to serve as an assistant director overseeing 36 wonderful children. I have a profound admiration for the Montessori method—it beautifully nurtures each child’s unique potential, promotes hands-on learning, and naturally fosters independence. On a personal note, I’m all about staying active and embracing life’s adventures—whether I’m working out, hiking (a passion rooted in my Kentucky upbringing), or exploring new destinations. I love getting lost in a good book and am committed to lifelong learning. Above all, I’m driven by a deep passion for helping people, which is why I chose to pursue my doctorate in occupational therapy. I truly believe in making a positive impact in the world and living a life filled with purpose, growth, and meaningful connections.
