I'm currently working as a Special Needs Nanny for a family with three boys. The oldest is now in college and the middle child is Autistic and who has severe food allergies. The boys are much older now. I've been with this family going on ten years. Normally I would pick him up from school and take him to his ABA speech/therapy and medical or denistry appointments at times there has been entertainment activities. Light household chores including laundry, vacuuming, errands and preparing meals for the family weekly. Prior to my current position I previously worked for a woman who was in the military US Navy and she transferred out of state so that position ended, she had three boys the youngest a toddler, middle child was in kindergarten and the oldest a full time student. My arrival began at 6:30am at their residence I would cook and provide nutritious meals, Read more teaching proper eating habits and personal hygiene. Constructed daily educational activities along with storytelling and games, making sure the oldest was on time to catch his bus. Teaching the younger children how to write and do pre-school work was involved until lunchtime after lunch the middle child went to afternoon kindergarten. In between I would do laundry and any light housekeeping when needed. The children will always be the first priority taking care of their needs while providing a safe & happy environment.
