Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to positively impact children's lives by helping them grow and develop in a safe, nurturing environment. Whether it's assisting with daily routines, supporting learning, or just offering companionship, I truly enjoy building trust and connections with the families I work with. It’s rewarding to know that I’m making a difference in their day-to-day lives. What experience do you have? I have over 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. I’ve had the privilege of working in childcare centers, as well as providing private care. Throughout my career, I’ve gained hands-on experience in managing diverse situations, such as supporting children with different needs and working with families to create safe, engaging environments for their kids. What skills and training do you have? Yes I have my Degree in Education I Read more hold a Gateway ECED Level 4 certification and an ECED Level 1 Director License, which have provided me with extensive knowledge in early childhood education and program management. Additionally, I am trained in CPR, hold a DCFS Mandated Reporter license, and have earned my CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. These qualifications ensure that I am well-equipped to provide high-quality care, respond to emergencies appropriately, and foster a safe and enriching environment for children.
