Hi! I’m Keira and I’m currently in my senior year of nursing school at Emporia State University. I grew up in Leawood, graduated from Kansas City Christian in 2021, come home to see my family most weekends, and will be in Leawood all summer. I also will be moving back to the Leawood/OP area permanently after I graduate in December 2025. I worked at COR in high school for 2 years in the childcare center until the pandemic hit, and still attend church there! Last summer I worked in one of the medical-surgical units at Menorah Medical Center as a nurse intern. I plan to work as a pediatric nurse after graduation. I have been babysitting since I was just 12 years old and believe my calling in life is caring for young children. I have over 1000 hours of experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, between babysitting Read more for dozens of families as well as summer nannying for two different families for 25 hours a week each. I drive a 2019 Subaru Forester that has been in no accidents, and have lots of experience driving kids to swim lessons, play dates, activities, etc. I am skilled in preparing both breastmilk and formula bottles, meal time, diapering, potty training, bedtime, nap time, engaging children in creative and fun activities, a pet lover, and always make sure I leave every family’s house cleaner than I found it. I am certified in infant and childcare from the US Nanny Institute, CPR certified, BLS certified, certified in pool and water safety, car seat certified, and have lots of clinical experience from nursing school. I frequently babysit when I come home on weekends and am often available short notice too!
