Hi! I’m Keira and I’m currently in my senior year of nursing school at Emporia State University and also am on the women’s tennis team. I grew up in Leawood, graduated from Kansas City Christian in 2021, come home to see my family most weekends, and will be in Leawood all summer. I also will be moving back to the Leawood/OP area permanently after I graduate in December 2025. I worked at COR in high school for 2 years in the childcare center until the pandemic hit, and still attend church there! Last summer I worked in one of the medical-surgical units at Menorah Medical Center as a nurse intern. I plan to work as a labor and delivery nurse after graduation and eventually go back to school to become a lactation consultant and ultimately a certified midwife. I have been babysitting since I was just 12 years old and Read more believe my calling in life is caring for young children. I have over 1000 hours of experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids between babysitting for dozens of families as well as summer nannying for two different families for 25 hours a week. I have a 2019 Subaru that has been in no accidents, am happy to help run errands for families, and have lots of experience with driving kids to swim lessons, play dates, activities, etc. I am skilled with bottles, meal time, diapers, potty training, bedtime, nap time, pets, and always make sure I leave every family’s house cleaner than I found it. I am certified in infant and childcare from the US Nanny Institute, CPR certified, BLS certified, and have lots of first aid experience as well. I frequently babysit when I come home on weekends and am often available short notice too!
