Hi there! My name is Meredith and I am 36 years old. I am an Occupational Therapy student in Nashville. I have worn many different hats throughout my life, which eventually drew me to Occupational Therapy. During school, I have been nannying/babysitting for three different families in the Nashville area who all have kids of varying age ranges. I do overnights when parents need to go out of town, as well as plan fun activities for the kiddos. I am a big advocate of letting kids be kids. We get dirty, play in puddles, do science experiments, sing songs, read stories, build forts, play hide and seek etc. All three of my families have very different parenting styles which I am happy to adapt to within the boundaries of keeping them safe when they are in my care. However, every child is different and sometimes I just have to find Read more out what they respond to. My style can be described as firm, fun, and fair. I do expect my kiddos to use good manners and I work with the younger ones early. Due my school schedule in the Spring which starts January 24th, I will be looking for weekend work only. I realize this is a stretch since most families like to spend time together on the weekends and don't necessarily need a babysitter. However, I do offer laundry services, organizing, changing bed sheets/crib sheets etc. Basically, anything that needs to be done that is taking time away from you spending time with your family. This situation would be great for a family that works on the weekends, however I am open to all opportunities.In regard to the pandemic: I am required by my school program to be fully vaccinated, including the annual flu shot. In addition, a background check is re-run every year. I am happy to speak to you more about my experience and provide references. I look forward to meeting you and your kiddos!
