Hello! My name is Klara and I have been caring for children for 9 years, from toddlers to adolescents. I graduated in the spring of 2024 with a B.A. in psychology and minor in education, and am currently pursuing a M.Ed./Ed.S. degree in school psychology. I believe that play is essential for child development, and I strive to create a safe and fun environment where children can learn and grow. I love working with children because they bring such curiosity, energy, and honesty to every interaction. There is something incredible meaningful about helping them grow - not just academically, but emotionally and socially too. It's rewarding to be a part of their journey, watching them overcome challenges and discover their strengths, and I know that even small moments can have a lasting effect on how a child sees themselves and the world around them. I communicate openly with parents about Read more their child's day, and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I have training in both CPR/First Aid as well as Youth Mental Health First Aid.
