Hello! My name is Lauren, I am originally from Vermont, went to graduate school in Boston, Massachusetts, and just moved to the Augusta area in July for my Speech Pathology Fellowship position. I am a Speech Pathologist at a hospital in the area, working with adults in the acute inpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Throughout my education, I have enjoyed babysitting and working with children as part time work to support myself through school. As I'm new to the area, I've found myself with some extra time and am looking to get back into babysitting! I have worked with children since I was in middle school, starting as a counselor in training and baby sitting. Throughout high school I became a summer camp counselor, and even served as an intern working at a leadership camp for high schoolers. During my college years, I have served as a head camp Read more counselor for a camp for 4-5 year olds, as well a lifeguard and counselor for children aged 6-11. During my graduate education, I had the opportunity to work with both neurodivergent and neurotypical in multiple preschool and school settings. Lastly, to share a bit about myself, I really enjoy crocheting, spending time outside, thrift shopping, exploring Augusta and the surrounding areas, and hanging out with my two dogs Kylo and Ygritte!
