I am a full time student at Carlow Univeristy. My major is Early Childhood Education with a minor in Art. My goal is to become a dedicated and compassionate educator who helps young children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I strive to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Being a babysitter would further help me to reach my goal by giving me more hands-on experience, while forming meaningful connections along the way. I worked at an after school program my freshman year of college where I got to experience working with children ages 5-10. Currently, I work at an Early Learning Center at Carlow during the school year. The children are 6 weeks to 3 years old. I have experience with a wide range of age groups which has helped me to meet individual needs of Read more the children at various developmental stages. Whether it’s engaging in creative art projects with younger children, helping older kids with their homework, or guiding social interactions, I have gained valuable skills in managing different behaviors, creating positive relationships, and encouraging learning through play. Working as a babysitter would further my experience, allowing me to continue developing my skills in a more personal, flexible environment while still supporting children’s growth and well-being.
