Meet Lucia

I’m an artist and chef with over eight years of experience in childcare. My experience began at 16, when I ran an art camp in my backyard, and I’ve continued working with children since, whilst acquiring a bachelors degree in fine arts and working in the creative arts and non profit sector. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of receiving a training and working at a Montessori school, where I’ve deepened my understanding of child-centered education and development. I’m inspired by children’s natural creativity and love to support their inherent artistic abilities, meeting each child where they are, in alignment with the Montessori method. I also have a love for cooking, something I learned from my mother as we prepared meals together in the kitchen. I like to bring that joy into my childcare, sharing the fun and nourishment of healthy food. Whether it’s drawing, story telling, Read more or simply honoring their sense of wonder, I am dedicated to fostering creativity and supporting each child’s unique growth.
