Great attitude and friendly person to have as a sitter. Definitely recommend!

Paulline babysat for mine and a friends' kids so we could go on a mom date. She had a total of 5 kids ages 10-22 months, and cared for them without breaking a sweat! She cooked them lunch and had everything cleaned up when I returned. She was prompt, friendly, and seemed to enjoy caring for the kids. I will definitely be calling her again! Thank you, Pauline!

After a few months as our nanny, she informed us by text 1 hour before time to come over she had moved away. Very disrespectful way to give notice to a family and a good reason for us to start using nanny contracts and pay every other week! Note to self! As for the care, she did not take our girls outside, never once took them for a walk or to play, even when toddler asked. Several times I changed the girls after their naps and found caked-on dirty diaper so clearly they hadn't been changed in awhile. My toddler stayed in her bed for an hour or so after nap most days not wanting to get up and cried every time she came over. She often ignored our instructions: on more than one occasion the baby missed an entire feeding or was given formula from hours earlier despite being instructed to feed at certain times, to be persistent and to throw out old formula after an hour and a half max! All things a nanny with 20 years should know. I was in the process of interviewing new nannies when she abruptly moved so that is not really an issue but a lousy way to treat a family. Our primary complaint and reason for this review is the lack of care, compassion or willingness to play with our girls. Our experience, this nanny sat on the couch, never took our kids outside, and ignored clear instructions (all verified by nanny cam). We have had several great nannies and sitters through sitter city that have loved and laughed and provided wonderful care to our girls...Pauline unfortunately was NOT one of the good ones.

Finally ! A great pet sitter who I am happy to give 5 stars too. She is the first person I used through Sitter City and was worth every penny of the sign-up fee. Our dogs bark when left home at night, so we needed her to come be here during the evening hours over Christmas. My husband HATES having strangers stay at the house , but after meeting Pauline he actually seemed relaxed and comfortable! She came by before we left to get keys and the general instructions for our 2 dogs, 2 fish tanks, 1 old mean and nasty cat and 2 chickens hangin out in their coop. I had everything pre-written so I figured we'd just do a quick run-through, but she stayed to chat quite a while longer to chat with us. I think this helped muy husband feel okay about her being a great, responsible person. (All her references had already said how great she is, but it's nice to chat with someone your self of course.) While we were gone the electricity blew in one room causing the alarm to go haywire for an evening until the battery (thankfully) wore itself out. Pauline was calm, wonderful, helpful, understanding and willing to assist in whatever we needed her to do... late, late at night. (Of course these things always happen then, right ?) So, in the midst of unexpectedness, she was great. The water froze in the chicken coop, and she was sure to give them some more. I know it sounds like common sense, but the last 3 sitters I had couldn't even manage to keep it filled believe it or not. (I came home to chickens with no water,) Not with Pauline, food dishes were fool, water filled and even un-frozen. My husband got back into town before I did and he said, "I think the house may actually be CLEANER than when we left it." We both decided that if we are lucky enough to end up with children instead of just our fake dog-children than we want Pauline to be available to help us with them. 5+ Stars for Pauline. She. Is. Fantastic !

Interviewed with us but was not upfront with her dates available. Also lead us to believe that she could change her schedule when she was really just shopping around . I feel wasted our time, as we had discussed our needs up front. IGB

Pauline has sat for us twice and is excellent. I trust her very much with our infant baby and we will use her again.

Pauline did a great job over the weekend with our girls! They had a great time! We will definitely have Pauline back!

Pauline has watched my 9 year-old regularly over the past several months. She is a very reliable,easygoing and responsible sitter.

We came from Atlanta for a conference and Pauline watched our girls (4 year old + infant) for 4 nights. Pauline was professional, easy to work with, flexible, and prompt. Thanks Pauline for helping us have a great time in Austin.

She call the day that she was going to sit for us but she didn't show up. We call her many time to find out if she OK But nothing.

Pauline is wonderful. She is always on time and here (I use her twice a month on a regular schedule) and the boys (currently ages 3 1/2 and 1) do very well with her. She puts them to bed with no troubles and they like having her back. She works with our restricted diet with no problems. It's nice to know that the boys are with someone that I trust.

Pauline has taken care of my daughter several times now (the first time Annie was just 2 months old). She is great... always on time and very responsible. Most importantly, she adores children and laments the fact that my daughter sleeps so much. Feel free to call me at 284-7330 if you have any questions.

Pauline was great with our children. This was our first time leaving our daughters with anyone other than family and as we were leaving, my toddler got upset. Pauline diffused the situation immediately by showing her a picture of her dogs (my daughter's favorite animal). The next day, my toddler asked if Pauline was coming back, so we know things went really well. :) We will definitely use Pauline again!

On time, great with the girls, called to confirm...very responsible and kind hearted! Got down and played with the girls immediately!!

Pauline is an excellent sitter. She is very timely and attentive.

Pauline was great with the kids. My two year old is very shy and warmed up to her quickly. She also left wonderful notes as to when the children had eaten and been changed which is very helpful.

Pauline has babysat for my 6 and 3 year olds several times and she is great. I highly recommend her. The kids really enjoy her and they never complain when I tell them she is babysitting. Janet Kampfer

Pauline got ou bottle resistant baby to take a bottle. She was great with our toddler too.
