Hello all! My name is Megan, and I would love to help out with your babysitting needs. I am an occupational therapy doctoral student currently completing my final clinical rotation here in New Jersey, and while here, I would love to lend an extra helping hand to any families in need. Before starting OT school in 2020, I interned and then was hired to work at a special needs, speech and language in school in North Carolina. While there, my love and passion for engaging and working with children grew as I worked closely with multiple families from the school to nanny and babysit their kids. I have volunteer experience with the local Boys and Girls Club from my hometown and volunteered at therapeutic horseback riding centers for 2 years. Additionally, I have fieldwork experience working in outpatient, pediatric occupational therapy, so I have lots of experience working with children Read more of many ages! I'm energetic, kind, have a passion for learning, and am an avid Disney lover for any children who may want to sing or dance to some songs. And with permission for screen time of course, I am a great re-watcher of movies no matter how many times a little one may want to re-watch Encanto! To hopefully provide a little piece of mind, I am BLS/CPR certified from the American Heart Association. I also am completely up-to-date on all Covid/Flu vaccines. I currently am completing my fieldwork from M-F from 8:00am - 4:00pm, but am available to help in evenings and have open availability on weekends!
