Hello parents of California, my name is Jocelyn Bertrand and I am a new San Diego resident. I was living in Northern New Jersey for my whole life. I am 22 years old with experience working as a student nurse in the hospital setting. I have been babysitting children for about 8 years. I have babysat at most, three children at a time, ranging between new born through 14 years of age. I have acquired babysitting jobs through co workers, the internet, as well as through family members. I enjoy observing children because through their actions and thoughts, I have become more patient and understanding. Not only has caring for children fulfilled my life, it has given me a solid foundation as to what I now provide as a care giver. Any person your child encounters will influence them in some way, and for this reason my goal is to Read more influence your children in positive and effective ways. I encourage appreciation assuring that this sense of appreciation will become more apart of their everyday lives. I also encourage kindness, and the importance of being kind to oneself as well as to others. As a caregiver, I will get to know your child and truly care for them; I respect any person who would trust, and give me the opportunity to do so. I strive to gain the trust of parents and children to assure comfort for you and your child in a situation that may be uncomfortable for the both of you. I can also assure you that I am able to help you and your child get certain tasks done such as homework, hygiene, chores, outdoor activities. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I hope that this description has given a parent in need a sense of confidence in me, and I wish the best of luck for the parents who will continue their search for a suitable caregiver! If you have any questions feel free to call, text, or e-mail me. You can reach me at, bertrand.jocelyn@student.ccm.edu or (973)590-6638
