I have been a nanny for 10 yrs. For the first 2 years, I did temp nanny work, and then got a full time nanny job, keeping 2 doctors children. I kept their first child at 2 months, and the 2 others at 2 months also. I worked there for 8 years, until recently. I am doing temp work where I am needed now. This works out well for me.
