Care.com Profile: https://www.care.com/p/ashleet531/cc I currently work part time as a K-12 Substitute Teacher in Stratford, Connecticut and per diem as a Paraprofessional in Danbury providing care in self contained classrooms for medically handicapped children as well as behavioral support to children of various ages. These experiences have allowed me to manage a variety of situations, from educational needs to emotional support, while tailoring my approach to each child’s personality and needs. I love being a sitter because it allows me to form meaningful connections with children and support their development in creative and engaging ways. I find joy in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to express themselves, explore their curiosity, and have fun. It’s incredibly rewarding to see their growth and to be a part of their everyday milestones.
