Everyone who knows me can say that I am hardworking, dedicated, and reliable. In the last four years, I taught English as second language to various age groups. I started as a teaching assistant for 10-17 year olds in an all-girls public school in Chile. I have also worked in a vocational high school and a university. I led classes on culture, tourism, hospitality, and business management through the usage of English in Rhode Island, France, Chile, and Colombia. Most of my students were not originally interested in learning English, but with my interactive activities, I made the classroom environment fun and interesting. While living in France, I also nannied a 9-year-old boy. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, aiding him with homework in French and English, cooking, and coming up with various activities to engage his brain and to enjoy the outdoors. Educationally, I finished my undergraduate degree in Global Studies, Spanish, and French in 2015. I currently am a Boston College graduate student, so I am available for the entire summer season (June through August). I tutored students in Spanish, and I volunteered to teach English to foreigners through a local church in Rhode Island. In 2016, received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach and carry out research in Colombia. I grew up in a big family with pets, so I have always been taking care of others. I love animals and helping young kids learn and be active. I have a fun, bubbly personality and my dynamic nature makes me versatile and flexible in different situations. I can cook and bake, and I like to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I believe that sports or outdoor activities are really important. I also know how to make some boring topics or difficult subjects interesting and easier. My older sisters are nannies, so I have helped them out on occasion in the Chicago area.
