Hello! My name is Mackenzie :) I am so ecstatic to start this journey of establishing care for children of all ages, experiences and needs through the Sittercity platform. I have been a certified special education teacher for the past 7 years, servicing children from age 5 to 12 years of age. In addition, I developed a passion for working in early childhood special education, so I worked towards a master's degree which led me to work for a private practice in early intervention (birth to age 3) educating families whose children were developmentally delayed. In recent years, I decided to take a break from working in education and take care of some personal needs. However, my love for spending time with children remains strong and I am eager to incorporate more of that into my life again! I look forward to chatting more about how I can best support Read more your family and child with the utmost care. :)
