Why do I love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy nurturing children’s growth, creativity, and confidence. Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and being a positive part of their day brings me so much joy. Every child is unique, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment that helps them thrive. What experience do I have? I have experience working with children through various programs and educational settings. I’ve worked with organizations like Breakthrough and Big Buddy, where I provided mentorship and support to students of different ages. I’ve also worked with kindergarten and elementary students, helping them build independence and develop foundational skills in reading, math, and science. What skills and training do I have? I am well-trained in working with children in educational and caregiving environments. I am proficient in managing activities that promote learning and development, such as Read more storytime, arts and crafts, and homework assistance. Additionally, I am trained in fostering positive behavior and encouraging independence. My background in early childhood education has given me the skills to adapt to each child’s needs, ensuring they feel supported and engaged. I’m a student at Southern University, majoring in Elementary Education & Special Education. I Graduate in May 9, I am 22 years old. I look to assist any that needs help.
