I’m a recent college grad with a degree in Elementary Education & Special Education. After graduating, I gained even more experience with childcare & children by providing therapy services to children with Autism, otherwise known as ABA therapy. Throughout this job, I not only formed meaningful relationships and provided a safe & supportive learning environment for my clients, but I also expanded my skill set in toilet training, CPR, First Aid, functional skills such as eating/drinking/swallowing programs, and provided effective behavior management therapy. Throughout my undergrad, I’ve worked with numerous ages of children, ranging from 3/4years old to about 12/13 years old. I’m passionate, kind, caring, energetic, and I truly love forming meaningful connections with families. Some former jobs I’ve held are babysitting for a child with special needs, working as an activities supervisor, working at the Boys and Girls club as program support, volunteering at the Special Olympics as Read more an assistant coach, and as stated above, as a registered behavior technician at an ABA company. I’m currently going back to school via online to become a speech language pathologist, so becoming a part time sitter works perfect for my schedule!
