Hi families!! My name is Na’Xya Dunn, I am 20 years old and I’ve been working with kids since I was 15. I started volunteering at my church in the kids classroom, but then I started working at my first childcare center and loved it so much. I want to become a pediatric nurse and have had such a love for kids ever since I can remember. I also have two younger brothers I often care for along with my younger cousins. Naxya was a great sitter for my daughter the 2 times that she sat. She was respectful, engaged, and communicative. However, after my urgent and immediate need was fulfilled, I’ve not been able to reach her by personal phone or Sittercity’s messaging tool. I paid her an agreed rate, on time, and both times added a tip. Have no idea what has happened but after investing in a detailed background check and spending hundreds already in care, I would’ve appreciated some communication, as we’d already briefly discussed an ongoing retainer agreement. No one wants different random people watching their child and I’d hoped to have a long-standing caretaker. Back to the drawing board.
