I am an 18 year old Christian artist. I work at Raising Cane’s part time and during the day I’m looking for a little extra financial help to get myself going. I have a few different childcare experience avenues. I used to volunteer as a chaperone at my church for VBS, which included watching children on different playground pieces and ensuring they did not cause harm to themselves, as well as teaching them through the different play courses we had set up. I also babysat the children of the families that my parents studied in small groups with. This was a total of 3 children ranging ages 4-7. This was paid, about $10/hr due to my young age. I also volunteered in the church nursery, taking care of infants during the church services. This of course included changing diapers, feedings, and playing with the babies with baby toys. I love Read more kids and very much hope to have some of my own someday. I feel like I can often understand them better than some people my own age!
