Hi there! My name is Caitlin and I am 30 years old, living in Loveland, CO. I run my own business from home designing and creating clothing. I have always loved working with children and have been working in childcare since I was 16 years old. I see myself as a very patient, loving, responsible, and creative individual. I am the youngest of six siblings and have six nieces and nephews. Over the last five years, I’ve worked for a family that became as close to me as my own! They recently moved to California but still fly me out to babysit for them from time to time because we’ve built such a close relationship. I spent those years caring for their pets, as well as babysitting and tutoring the children of the family. I worked for four summers as a camp counselor for kids ages 3-11 when I was Read more in high school and early college. I also had several other babysitting gigs throughout the last fourteen years. I have a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from SUNY New Paltz and I’ve worked on and off in the food service industry for fifteen years. Being responsible, caring for your children, and communication are important to me. I will always keep you updated on how your children are doing if I am watching over them. I am great with pets (as I have two cats and an Australian Shepherd of my own), am happy to do some light cleaning, drive to/from school, or run any errands you may need help with. I would be happy to take the kids on walks, do crafts together, as well as help them with homework. If there is anything else you may specifically need, I am always willing to discuss it. A little more about me: I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes when I was just 11 years old, so I am very experienced in blood glucose monitoring, self-care, injections, nutrition, and learning responsibility from a young age. My father passed of cancer when I was 13, and my older sister has special needs, so I have always been a natural caretaker and lived my life with a lot of sensitivity. If I seem like a good fit for your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me! :)
