I was CPR ad BLS certified in high school and I was at the time raising my two younger siblings with my year younger sibling. I had to get them all 3 up for school in the morning, breakfast, teeth brushed, hair, backpack, uniforms, off bus, homework help, lunch box packed, cooking, bedtime, etc. Yes, even the one in high school with me who had ADHD and a hard time waking up. Sometimes he was woke up first to help then slept in and by the time I’m done with the other two he had 5 minutes til the bus and I’d check on him and he’s still down and wake him up to say hurry up you got 5 minutes to grab a snack, brush your teeth and hair, and get yourself ready and out this door. My senior year I had completed all classes but 3 for the Read more second term so I had first period off to “sleep in”, more so to make sure everyone was ready without stressing about myself.
