I love being a sitter because it allows me to build meaningful connections with children, support their needs, and create fun, enriching activities that help them grow and thrive. I have a year of experience working in an after-school program, where I managed a first-grade class of 21 students and, later, a summer class of 27 third graders. While I left this role to pursue my Medical Assisting program, I successfully earned my certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Through this experience, I've developed strong communication, multitasking, attentiveness, and organizational skills. Additionally, I have specialized training in managing reactive behavior in children, which further enhances my ability to provide a safe and supportive environment.

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
