Hi, I'm Iyana! I'm 18 years old and I've been watching younger cousins and children at my church for about 3 years now, with this past year being the first I got paid for it; given my experience, I can ensure you that I can keep your kids safe, on-track, entertained, and well-behaved! A few things I enjoy doing with kids is playing outside, reading stories, helping with homework, and of course I build AWESOME forts! I also enjoy cooking snack or dinner; I have many food allergies myself and take extra precaution when feeding kids with food allergies. While I am lots of fun and very playful, I also prioritize safety, making sure things stay tidy, and keeping them under control and well-behaved. I take a gentle and guiding approach to discipline and avoid tantrums by re-directing their focus and making the task at hand sound like something they Read more to want to do. This avoids conflict and ensures they get things done and learn to regulate their emotions appropriately.
