I have always enjoyed interacting with my younger cousins, as I come from a large family with nine children under the age of 10. I also have a younger cousin who is three years younger than me (I’m 24, and he’s 21). I’ve naturally taken on a “big brother” role for him throughout our lives. Additionally, I’ve had experience being around individuals with special needs, as his older sister, who is two years older than me, has special needs. While I don’t have direct one-on-one experience in this area, I am eager and willing to learn. Growing up, I attended YMCA summer camps, where I was inspired by the counselors and their positive character. I also spent time in after-school care due to my parents’ late work schedules and their divorce. Those experiences taught me to appreciate the people who cared for me when my parents couldn’t, and they instilled Read more in me a desire to give back by positively impacting others. I enjoy staying active through working out and playing soccer, even if I’m not the best at it haha! I also love music, video games, and reading. Since the age of 16, I’ve worked in the service industry at multiple restaurants, which has given me valuable experience in taking care of people of all ages. Now, I’m ready to focus on working with children specifically, with the goal of making a meaningful and positive difference in their lives!
