I was introduced as a Caregiver by family trend. My last employment of 16 years geared my experience interaction with people of different ages and ethnicity. I have three grown children and one granddaughter, which I have cared for on several occasions. Most of my skills and training I learned in caring for my mother's Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and my father's Alzheimer's and dementia, both have passed away. My resignation was cause to assist with home attendants in better care, monitoring, food preparation, and medication. Caring for someone is sharing your time to give interaction, involvement, creativity and companionship.
