I am a mom of four beautiful boys! I am also a birth doula, postpartum doula, and student midwife. The ultimate birth and childcare professional. My knowledge includes all things birth and babies but I hold a special place in my heart for infant care in the first 3-4 months. I have over 15 years experience working with families in the birth and childcare industry. My experience includes establishing a family’s needs and providing advice and support in the care of the newborn and the parent. As a comprehensive birth professional, I wear many hats but the number one character trait of all my positions is love. What makes me a great caregiver and lactation professional is that I care more about the long-term well-being of the infant than a successful week of sleeping through the night. I do care about the feelings of both the infant and their parents. Read more I require little guidance from parents and I am well educated in what is and is not typical regarding newborn appearance and behavior. In my opinion, it's important to create good routines for the baby and work toward sleeping through the night, but caring for the infant and ensuring they are safe and comfortable is equally important. I attempt to create harmony between parent and infant so that families can begin to function in their new normal and obtain overall enjoyment of parenthood and life.
