I have always had a love for children and as soon as I was able to, I began babysitting and seeking jobs relating to children. My experience includes, babysitting for multiple families with up to 4 children at a time, with varying ages from newborn - 13 years old. In addition to babysitting, I completed an internship at a daycare center working in the toddler room. Also, for the last few years I have spent my summers working as a day camp counselor, and most recently, working as a counselor in a residential summer camp, living and caring full time for 6-year-old and 7-year-old girls. From 2012-13 I nannied an adorable little girl everyday after school (I was a senior in high school), starting when she was 4 months old. She also had two older siblings, now 7 and 10 that I would sometimes watch on nights and weekends as Read more well. When their youngest child turned 2, she was enrolled in a daycare program as I went off to college in Connecticut. I attended college in Connecticut for one semester, but unfortunately the program I was in didn't work out, so I returned home in the winter of 2014. Upon returning home, the family I used to nanny for didn't have a need for me anymore and suggested I look for a new job. I ended up finding a family right away which I started with in February 2014. I cared for an 18-month-old boy and a 7-year-old girl full time up until this fall. This September 2015, I moved to Towson, Maryland and began school at Towson University, majoring in Deaf Studies and Child Life. I was devastated to leave these 2 kids that had quickly become my second family. I am currently taking classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and one night class on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Besides these times while I am in class, my availability is very open. I would love to find and family who is looking for part time care on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays, and I am happy to work on weekends as well. I truly love having some little pals to care for, hang, and play with! I am so excited to start my new journey here in Maryland, and be able to connect with and cherish some great new children.
