Hello, my name is Lorenna. Throughout my life I have been studying and qualifying myself in different areas with different experiences. In 2012, I lived in Australia for 7 months to improve my English as a student exchange at Shafston International College. Back in my home country of Brazil, I graduated with an Environmental Technician Certificate and in 2014 I worked as an Environmental Technician. I identified, monitored, and filed the impacts of petroleum for 5 years. I also have more than 11 years as a childcare provider. In 2019 I made the big leap to come to the US as an au pair. That’s when I learned I wanted to dedicate my life to working with children. I take pride in knowing that I care for children with such dedication and commitment. The safety and well-being of children is always my priority! I love to do activities that stimulate Read more children’s mind as well as body function. I love showing children arts and crafts, drawing, painting, and sculpturing with modeling clay, etc. I love the idea of children playing with their hands to promote learning. My opinion these kinds of activities stimulate a child’s development. I also like to take kids outdoors for physical activities including going on walks, playground to swing, and playing and interacting with other kids. I think that varied activities are very important for children and getting out into nature provides many learning opportunities along with a healthy and active lifestyle. I take my job very seriously and will always do my best to ensure the children under my responsibility feel safe, cared for, and happy.
