Meet Ashley

• Speaks American Sign Language

I am from a large family with five sisters. Growing up, children always surrounded us and we started babysitting at a very young age with people in the neighborhood, Church, and from word of mouth. It was instilled in us to always take care of children and it has become an innate behavior. My parents are also Hearing Impaired so I grew up learning American Sign Language to communicate with the Deaf Community. This has allowed me to navigate assisting people with disabilities as it was a large part of my upbringing. I am an Aunt with 12 nieces and nephews so I continue to be surrounded by children of all ages and personalities. I am a caretaker to my Father who has Cancer so I have taken a step back from my careers in Operations and Merchandising Management.
