I'm a junior majoring in Elementary Education at K-State. My first experiences working with children included babysitting and working at my church's nursery in middle and high school. When I was in high school, I started working at an elementary school in my districts before/ after school program and continued coming back there to work when I came home for breaks. During my freshman year of college, I went to Wichita State and worked at their early childhood learning center. Since I moved and went to school in Manhattan at K-State I have worked for Boys & Girls Club and aided at a school in Junction City. Through these jobs and experience, I have also stayed CPR certified and first aid trained.
